updates for every vehicle in your fleet so you always know where
everybody is...24/7. “Ping” capability, or the ability to manually find
any of your vehicles between 2 minute updates makes our active tracking
system extremely powerful.
Our real-time vehicle tracking system uses the GPS (Global Position
System) to obtain the exact position of your vehicle while it transfers
this data back to the Internet server through the
Cingular Mobitex™ data network.
Unlike the analog cellular CDPD
network that is being phased out,
Mobitex™ is a dedicated
data nationwide metro area network. You simply go to any computer that
has Internet access and log onto the secure website. When you enter your
password your entire fleet appears on the map. You now know where
everyone is instantly.
If you want to see where your vehicles have been you can easily check
their history for up to 90 days. If you want a permanent archive of your
vehicles history you can download your data into Microsoft Excel. You
also get a number of vehicle and fleet reports such as: Start/Stop,
Detailed Activity, Begin/End of Day, Speed, Mileage records, etc.
Active real-time tracking allows you to get instant email alerts anytime
a programmable event takes place. Events can be set per individual
vehicle…Excessive speed, after hours vehicle movement or even
leaving/entering a set area can trigger an email alert to your computer,
